The TEKNIK KEMBARA is a
purpose built Survey Vessel used to perform geophysical
and general survey operations. The vessel is typically
deployed into High Resolution Site Survey Contracts, but
also performs pipeline and cable route surveys,
hydrographic surveys, and shallow geotechnical sampling
surveys.
The vessel is one of five owned and shallow geotechnical
sampling surveys and
operated by TL Geohydrographics throughout the Asia
Pacific region. The vessel is fitted with a complete
suite of Anologue and Digital High Resolution Seismic
Survey equipment for both shallow and deep water works.
Designed and built as a Deep Seismic Vessel, there is a
separate streamer deck, gun racks and trays, and
deployment/ retrieval booms on each side of the vessel.
There is a separate compressor engine room that provides
for more than 2200 SCFM of air at any one time.
Echo Sounder transducers operating at 12kHz, 24kHz, and
200kHz, including a submetrix ISIS 300 swath sounding
system are permanently hull-mounted. A 12" gate valve is
used for the deployment of the Nautronix USBL system. A
Survey Instrument room of 108 square meters is located
in the center of the vessel.
Digital seismic recording is by TTS-2, linked to GX600
Streamer type, programmable in steps of 205m from 12.5m.
Dual sleeve gun and increased sources are available. Gun
control is by Kalamos QSC eight-gun controller. Onboard
processing and interpretation is provided by Sun Sparc
Ultra II processing workstations running Promax ver.6.04
software and Seisworks interpretation software.
The vessel carries an ODOM DF 3200MKII Echo Sounder, EG
& G Sea Floor Mapping Sonar, and EG&G Sub Bottom
profiling systems. Digital recording, processing and
reporting is by CODA and Elics Delph II systems.
Charting Plotting and Reporting systems provide for AO
digitization and colour plotting.
The
TEKNIK KEMBARA
has capacity for 400
Tons of fuels and 220 Tons of fresh water. A water maker
products up to 6 Tons per day. Typical endurance is
around 35 days. The vessel is also oufitted with a
Helideck. The vessel provides accommodations for a total
of 36 persons onboard in air-conditioned cabins. There
is a large mess room, recreational facilities and a
hospital.
One client personnel can be accommodated in a single
cabin with en suite facilities. Phone, Fax and Data
Telemetry is available from the NERA Inmarsat B system.
GSM telephone is also available. The vessel complies
with international GMDSS requirements.
The vessel is maintained under ABS class, and is fully
covered under the company's Hull and PNI insurance.
