The
TEKNIK SATRIA
is a Dynamically Positioned
(DP) Survey Vessel used to support ROV and general
survey operations. The vessel is typically deployed onto
offshore construction and pipeline inspection contracts.
The vessel also performs geophysical site surveys,
pipeline and cable route surveys, hydrographics surveys,
Vibro coring and shallow geotechnical sampling surveys.
The vessel is one of five owned and operated by TL
Geohydrographics throughout the Asia Pacific region.
The vessel is outfitted with a Robertson RPM DP system
linked with powerful Stern and Bow thrusters for precise
station keeping. Position reference for Joystick follow
sub and stationary position keeping is provided from
DPGS, and the ship's SIMRAD 310T USBL. The USBL system
tracking head is deployed through a 16" gate valve.
There is one additional gate valve of 12" available to deploy other
survey sensors. The vessel has SG Brown 1000S Gyro and
ODOM DF 3200 MK II Survey Echo Sounder fitted.
Transducers operating at 12kHz, 24kHz and 200kHz are
permanently hull-mounted.
A Survey and Post Processing Room of 60
m² is
located aft of the wheelhouse with fitted work surfaces
shelving and storage cupboards. There is 35 m² of deck space forward of the bridge used for ROV
deployment and 160 m² of free deck space on
the main deck, with 70 m² under cover. A
second survey room of 60 square is available on the main
deck level.
The TEKNIK SATRIA
has capacity for 155 tonnes of
fuel and 148 tonnes of fresh water. A water maker
produces accommodation for a total of 38 persons onboard
in air-conditioned cabins. There is a large mess room,
recreational facilities and a hospital. Up to two client
personnel can be accommodated in single cabins with en
suite facilities.
Phone, Fax and Data Telemetry is available from the NERA Inmarsat B system.
GSM telephone is also available. The vessel complies
with international GMDSS requirements.
The vessel is maintained under Bureau Veritas class, and is fully
covered under the company's Hull and PNI insurance.
